The Urban Craft Center craft workshop
The Urban Craft Center will be hosting a special holiday craft workshop at Pehr Space(craft)!. Rumor is that they are planning some free needle or wet felting demos for us. Sounds like fun! The Urban Craft Center has just opened their store in Santa Monica and can see what they are up to in the craft world http://www.theurbancraftcenter.com/ .

Adam Hervey's conceptual collages create a hallucinogenic time warp in between sex, rock & roll, and fantasy. He crafts old Hustler pornography into a luscious unwrapped eye candy. Adam states: "It's a different way of looking at things that you thought you were used to. It skews your memories. Also for the denatured pornography, instead of you paying attention to the subjects, when you take away all of the s-e-x, it turns the tables and [models] are paying attention to you, it seems like they are all watching you, instead of you watching them. You become the focus of attention." His musical collages artfully create a vivid rock & roll wonderland so fantastical, they will induce memories of your fave mixtape masterpieces. We can't wait to see what he has stored up his sleeve for us at Pehr Space(craft)!
